People massively underestimate the importance of joy in life.

Its the aim. Everything else is, broadly, secondary. Joy and leaving the world a better place

obviously this is mental in and of itself but man alive it really does suck extra hard when you think about all the ACTUAL CRIMES the police just isn't investigating, because of "lack of resources"

got a bag nicked two years ago in a pub and 1) the pub offered to give the police CCTV 2) it took me a while to block my Monzo so I had a list of places the thief had spent my money in, and they also presumably have CCTV, but the police refused to investigate

some guys with placards though? on it!
