Watching high level ice dance in person, it’s impossible to not respect how strong both skaters are. That they make it look easy compared to the jumps and stuff is testament to that strength.

A lot of them growing up would have done some dance patterns, and often work with ice dance coaches to improve their edgework, footwork, and general expressive ability. They definitely know it’s an extremely hard discipline, just in different ways. They see them practicing up close, too.

the owner is super nice and though not traditional, he gave my friend a mac and cheese dosa for free when he was menu testing. sounds like it was good and that he's doing some fun stuff.

i havent actually watched it as an event but knowing how my brother gears up to get out there i would love to learn that they make them carry a specifically weighted pack to complete the true experience
