VPS15 is a GTP binding pseudokinase.
CRN Team Hurley elucidated a structural pathway of enzyme activation through cryo-EM analysis of PI3KC3-C1, showing that the activation of the VPS34 lipid kinase complexes is mediated by the myristoylated, GTP-binding pseudokinase VPS15.
