I love many of you, have many mutual follows well over 10yrs. I guess, for me this form of social media, meant to connect ppl, has lost 95% it’s humanity, or I have, likely both. I cant blame Trump related stress or my politics for all of it. Signing off. will return if i sense more connection. X

Leaving Memphis for LGA. My mother passed peacefully the day before her birthday, her kids beside her, just hours after we brought her home for hospice. It was a privilege to be there. Going home a few days, to return to organize the estate with my sisters. What a year.

I did this, took like 30 min.
Points I kept hammering: domestic cloud, regulations around copyright and likeness rights, focusing on machine learning with concrete, real world uses (creating new drugs, etc), the damage done by slop, the need to listen to AI experts who are realists, not boosters.

It hits so hard. I learned from a friend visiting me, as mother is in hospice, passing any time. My own acting career thwarted midstream by severe injury. Diane really was astounding and relatable, so beautiful and real. These are strangely intense times.
