At a retreat this weekend at the Banff Centre. This is the view out of the window to my right. Sadly, I have to pay attention to the projection screen. Shame.

A decade+ ago, we had a bike tour come through town. Shut the highway down for 3 hours on a Friday afternoon when the schools were being let out. My options for getting home were to drive 90 minutes out of my way to go around the race route or stay at work late by an hour. So much fun.

I can appreciate his impact in arts and culture without particularly enjoying his oeuvre. Just not for me.

I can only presume this was in reference to a Phil Collin’s song.

I’ve had a Halloween skeleton hanging out on my front porch for 5-6 years now. He just likes to hang out and watch the world go by. He also likes to dress up seasonally.

He even shows up on the current Google street view. But they’ve kindly blurred out his face for privacy reasons.
