Ultimately, the problem is that the new problems have crept up faster than the previous generation can adapt to, at some point. This has probably happened at times in history, it probably explains that "fourth turning" bullshit. not a cycle but a fluctuation of adaptability

That is if a picture comes together where enough earnest people actually observe a problem with enough clarity. Seems unlikely for a while. I hate to say it but I think it's going to have to wait until the passing of the lead poisoned generations for things to get better.

Of course the people in charge right now have that incredible gift of suffering through whatever they're led by--even if some sort of absolute madness--but one day that may not be the case. It honestly depends on the tone that we start to demand. Or that gets demanded, if that's being directed.

it's just because the reward factor is not there for the people in charge. Maybe shades of it around the edges where conscience may bite someone, as they approach a certain end, to actually genuinely try to solve a problem. meaning learning about it deeply.

is it not completely fucking obvious that people who play this game are only in it for personal gain. Christ it's like a bad movie. It's like not even barely covered up, for crying out loud. But you know what. I think it's inevitable. It's something you could predict. Something you could model.

I don't get what the fuck people are even upset about, I mean, what is the catalyst. do we not all want to resolve the fucking housing crisis. where the fuck are we going with this, people, like what is the actual fucking plan.

did some people actually feel like this in the previous four years? did people feel any sort of actual internal turmoil over some shit like, "Obama phones" or whatever the hell they were so pissed off about. As opposed to, maybe the fucking economy will crash any given moment

I'm just not looking at the fucking news right now on a saturday night is all I'm saying. I'm sure I will hear about the latest cataclysm in the morning. I'm sure the 8 hour delay in its arrival will enable me to do so much about whatever the fuck it is

What I mean is, the more important the person is, the more the people around them behave in a certain way. They become guarded. Things follow protocols. Things start to become "cleaner" in an unnatural way. Surely spending any amount of time at the center of this situation affects your mind.

How will they make money off of this? When you want to talk to your dead grandmother, every 5 minutes you have to listen to her tell you how you could save money on your insurance by switching to Geico?

one thing about YouTube that I hate is when it recommends videos on one channel/account because I watched it on another one. I use those things to compartmentalize my viewing. For example, I don't want to think about current events more than I need to
