In terms of the vaccine development specifically, it’s also the huge, amazing, unprecedented, global team effort to get these vaccines into existence, tested, and available incredibly quickly, without cutting corners. It was unambiguously a huge human achievement, but they claim it was actually bad.

I remember volunteering at a vaccine centre and getting to have that experience many many times in a row, including being impressed by the multiple people with serious needle phobia who nonetheless got vaccinated anyway.

This one was also excellent at showing why even going 5mph above the speed limit is an issue.

While I’m sure some British people would also freak out about this, I wonder if I’m not the only person for whom the THINK! ad campaign worked very well on. I still associate a car driving at 40mph as one that’s got an 80% chance of killing a kid if it hits one.

I haven’t tested latency, but you can absolutely use them as output for a Mac, have been able to do that for years. They just show up as speakers in audio output settings, no configuration required beyond that.

Pretty sure Shaun is in fact not the first person to use liberal to describe people who are essentially reactionary centrists, but while I get that this might be very "I'm in this photo and I don't like it", I think this is more of a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation for your party.

Considering his politics, I think it's more likely that he means something rather different by "liberals" than "The Liberal Democrats".

When I think of non-white people and immigrants, the metaphor I reach for is dirt in need of cleaning up. I am a Labour MP, and a quintessentially liberal social democrat.

I checked how this post is doing on FB, and it's almost entirely just angry racists for who've made it clear it's definitely not enough for them anyway.

My guess is that they, or more likely a staff member, is using a tool to crosspost to multiple sites at the same time, and I'm guessing they probably haven't noticed the replies here yet, though a combo of the above and the below is my prediction:
