Yoga, foam roller, massage gun. Without them I’d be a broken person, with them I can stay active. I twice injured lower back muscles this summer and had to deploy everything in my toolkit to recover.

I don't know what the future of social media will be, but I expect that the place where people are happiest and safest will be something that looks like a co-op. Paying users will support infrastructure, rates determine things like storage, payees vote for the management, tech roles, policies.

The purchasing managers of 5 major chains all need to be sat down for a stern talking to. Famously, children love bubbles past the end of August, and do not like crabby old people who pull them off the shelves. You know who would’ve stocked bubbles year round? Party City.

All the museums are free, so you can walk in, see a few minutes and then walk out. We visited the Tate Modern and British Museum a couple times. Even just to stand next to the Rosetta Stone is worth the visit.

My first election, where I could have some say in our future and head off the worst, and knew bad things were coming, was 2000, just before this and other graphs reflect the path that was chosen instead.

Playing it conservative. I do not see any upside to the tariff tango, immigration inferno or fallow farms, and the AI bubble is real. My account offered a money market option so I can transfer back to funds at any time, plus new contributions can go towards fund diversity.

Great thoughts man, you hit a lot of good points about the business. I’ve watched it change a lot in +15y and I see my kids and the dynamics there. It’s hard to make it big, and I think the way has a lot to do with putting creatives in charge and making consistently good games that respect gamers.

I don't talk much about my industry because it's scary the past couple years. Nothing about this EA purchase is good news for EA employees or other big studios.

I remember so much of the lobby of our small office where I stood and watched on a small tv. I remember walking in that morning, passing a coworker's office, and he shared the news of the first plane. I had only graduated a few months prior, flown through Portland ME the previous weekend.
