trying the same switch and two minor problems have been irking me so much I can't commit to it. 1) no way to sort albums by 'date added' both ways. all of my music is backwards from the Spotify import and you can't reverse the sort. 2) no fast scroll on the albums page. I have too many to scroll!

And yes, these are things that can be learned at any stage in life—and I'm actively working on both as an adult—but it doesn't change the fact that I've been two steps behind most of my peers at developing basic skills that are best learned as a child.

I'm mad that I was never taught:
a) how to socialize and make friends (Nobody bothered to make sure I could do it since my grades were perfect)
b) how to struggle through learning something new (Nobody bothered to challenge me because all schoolwork came easy, and that's all that matters)

I get that this a joke and that the sentiment of Just Do the Thing is something everyone has to internalize regardless of they did in school, but it's still mean spirited.

then recently i went full Helly R mode and got them shorter to look more gay and they're even better now

i was getting shorter framing pieces for a while and after wanting to mix it up, something got lost in translation with my stylist and she just made them bangs. the upkeep wasn't nearly as bad as i thought and i liked them so i said fuck it and kept it. THERE IS NO ESCAPE.

4-8th was so much better because puberty hadn't really hit yet and so many girls were open to socializing with me and that was the last time in my childhood I felt like I fit in with a social group. as highschool started I fell into such depression and self disgust that I avoided any attention. >.<

coming out of my hibernation to post this, yeah same. as a 6' 125 pound twig in high school, im so pissed that no extrovert girls adopted me and made me put on dresses. instead, my cousins did that when I was 5, before I had a functioning amygdala, and it just made me cower in shame indefinitely
