When I was in major pain and oxy did nothing for me, gummies to the edge off and helped me sleep. (Indica gummies)

The only reason there is a levy is because they needed more money and knew that people would pay EXTRA for libraries.

It's stupid. Libraries should NEVER have been defunded in the first place. Libraries should be a core service like roads, schools, police, and fire.

We don't try to justify road & bridge expenses for cars, yet trains are always shortchanged because people don't want them to "lose money"

This article & PDF illustrate the indirect benefits of rail outside of the maintenance / ticket revenues that most people beat the drum on. Great read.

That seems to be pushing the definition of cargo bike. yes there is a pedal, but I sincerely doubt that peddling increases range to any great extent. Their website is lacking a lot of information to confirm or deny my assertation.

Brent, you actually have a saying I went searching for on your TL, and I'm gonna butcher it, it was like "the only difference in cities that are successful in creating world class infrastructure that works for everyone, and cities that have not, is the successful ones started and didn't stop"

"49 households were loaned an e-cargo bike for a month in summer 2023, in suburbs of Leeds, Brighton and Oxford. Eleven of these households borrowed e-cargo bikes again the following winter. By Autumn 2024, 10 trial households had bought e-cargo bikes."

Very small footprint. Like less than a football field.

Otherwise, rooftop solar as others have suggested would jumpstart the effort.

Approximately 75% of households on the Upper West Side are car-free. Plus, 13,000 parking spaces in a neighborhood that's home to about 214,000 residents is nothing. This is an elected official listening to a loud and entitled minority and prioritizing the storage of private cars over public safety.

Blue cities should tear up the roads in front of ICE facilities and then start decades of community engagement and input sessions to rebuild them. Let's harness our core competencies.

Finished this fireplace mantel this weekend. Will install it next week at the clients house that is in the middle of a remodel.

Sapele was the primary wood with the wenge knots on the corners.

I love how Sapele shimmers.

Luckily, Sinclair has a helpful database of all their stations, so you can see if they're operating in your area and respond accordingly.
