This is really relatable. Itβs nice to know that eating whole grains, fruits and protein-rich food is one of the best types of food for managing stress. While food with added sugar is one of the worst as it causes stronger cravings later on.

Hi, I completely agree. While you may not be giving diet plans, conversations about nutrition and healthy eating and how it can affect their health can make a big difference in how patients view nutrition and the food they consume.

During finals week, I plan sticking to fast and easy to make meals such as noodles, dumplings, and sandwiches. Theyβre simple to make and donβt require too much time to prep or cook. Also, they can be nutritious depending on what you add to it.

Hi Lindsey, youβre completely right. Itβs important to enjoy food in moderation regardless if theyβre deemed healthy or unhealthy. The best diet isnβt the one thatβs most strict, but the one that allows you to stay most consistent and happy.

Hi, I completely agree. Too much of anything is not good for us. Even healthy foods like fruits can become unhealthy when consumed in excess. Though, that doesnβt mean we should cut a bunch of food out of our diet either. Moderation is key to a healthy diet.

Wow, I knew Twinkies werenβt healthy, but I didnβt expect how much sugar are in just one Twinkie. 14 grams of sugar is equivalent to 3.5 teaspoons, which is more than half of what the American Heart Association recommends as the daily sugar limit for women (25 grams).

Is There Really Any Benefit to Multivitamins?
A recent look at multivitamins by Johns Hopkins researchers shows that thereβs no proof of benefit. Find out the one supplement deemed beneficialβand how others failed.
The article states that despite many Americans taking vitamins, vitamins did not reduce risk for heart disease, cancer, or mental declines later in life. Instead of spending money on vitamins, they recommended spending money on maintaining a healthy diet.
