So, my 2¢: whatever your preferred policy outcomes are, you need to vote to give the City a small-to-medium sized stick to back it up with. If you or someone you know is on the fence, Yes on Q1 just lets the City say "yes you actually have to do what I say."

On a few occasions, I've felt that the lack of admin citation power was used by the City to justify inaction. And it 100% has been used as an excuse why they refuse to more than sporadically enforce the Rent Stabilization Ordinance.

Now that it's no longer my job to do so, I generally try to keep my nose out of St. Paul politics. But voting Yes on Q1 is extremely important for that city. Administrative citations are basically the only tool short of criminal charges or expensive litigation a city can use against bad actors.

These candidates are inspiring people across the city - offering a vision of what can happen if we elect a mayor who will work with City Council and be accountable to residents.

Oatmeal. I add flaxmeal to the dried oats, before cooking with a fruit (e.g. ½ apple, or whole apricot), & then add sunflower seeds / sesame seeds / walnuts / pecans & Greek yogurt after cooking. If I add sweetener, it's honey or maple syrup, and I often add cinnamon as well.

critics of the mayor are not "haters." this strib framing minimizes issues and concerns people have about him, and using slang terms like "haters" is frey-friendly language because this is what his supporters say in response to people bringing up valid issues
