the other day i watched a child on the bus open a beauty package and she tapped the edge of the box with her nails before opening like how influencers with acrylics do to show you a product. she thought that was how you have to open things. a part of me died that morning

literally everyone who has studied fascist regimes says the first thing they do is obfuscate the truth, and CNN/BBC/NYT is indulging his bs by reporting on it without qualifiers that what he’s saying is a lie. he is lying!! to muddy the waters and defang news outlets!! stop helping him!!

STOP BELIEVING HIM. he says he’s a king, he says other leaders are dictators, and the press just indulges it by playing both sides. “well is xyz real? we can’t be sure”. You are complicit in making it real! he is relying on the press to cover it as though it *could be* true, and you are! ffs
