State politics starter packs These starter packs include a mix of journalists, politicians, and activists in each state. Theyโ€™re compiled by different people, and may include both Democrats and Republicans. Making good use of th...

Climate action in the US is going to be a state and local matter over the next couple years. As such, it's more important than ever to connect with politicians & journalists near you and build trust to enable future actions.

To ease this, I've put together a list of state-level starter packs.

A Trump Judge Just Nixed Overtime Pay for Millionsโ€”and Media Yawned Remember the right-wing frenzy over โ€œRich Men North of Richmondโ€? Well, this ruling exposes Trump-MAGA hypocrisy on the working classโ€”and reveals a big media failure.

A Trump-appointed judge just struck down a Biden rule expanding overtime pay to 4 million working people.

It's really surprising how little media coverage this has received. Trump faced no real questions about this issue during the campaign. 1/

This cravenness is sadly expected at this point, but doing this AND low-balling disaster relief to pay for $400 million in handouts to rich private schools is something special. Thereโ€™s a lot to cover with the circus back in town in DC, but I hope national media doesnโ€™t let this go by unnoticed.

Scoop: The YIMBYs are coming โ€” to Congress

25 member, bipartisan caucus ๐Ÿ‘€. Regardless of the election outcome, housing wasnโ€™t going away as an issue. Hopefully this is a sign that it can stay bipartisan โ€” a lot of climate progress can be accelerated by helping more people live closer to where they need to go!

Inflation Reduction Act Repeal Would Hand Billions To Americaโ€™s Economic Competitors Inflation Reduction Act repeal, a target of the incoming administration, would hand $66 billion in investment to other nations and cost America $50 billion in exports.

Inflation Reduction Act repeal would deeply damage the US economy, costing us $50 billion in exports + handing $66 billion in investments to other nations like China.

No wonder America's biggest companies + Republican politicians are pushing back. Me on @forbes.com

More sprawl = more driving = more parking = more impervious surfaces = more runoff. Working to reduce sprawl is a climate mitigation, adaptation, affordability, and economic growth strategy!
