In the past, people didn’t want the entire world in every digital space. They wanted more curated social experiences. This mentality often comes at the expense of user experience.

I love reading research conducted and written specifically by the many variations of librarians and archivists out there. It’s also a meta field, so a good balance of STEM + the arts/humanities goes into it.

Dealing with overseas scammers requires the cooperation of their local law enforcement and government. They often don’t do anything. I think it was something like $2 billion Americans lost to scammers in a year last time I checked and rising exponentially with AI.
