Social mediaโs measure for success should not be solely rooted in growth and numbers.
In the past, people didnโt want the entire world in every digital space. They wanted more curated social experiences. This mentality often comes at the expense of user experience.

07.08.2025 16:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I love reading research conducted and written specifically by the many variations of librarians and archivists out there. Itโs also a meta field, so a good balance of STEM + the arts/humanities goes into it.
Iโve found most of them write so personably and accessibly too.

I think it was something like $2 billion Americans lost to scammers in a year last time I checked and rising exponentially with AI.

05.08.2025 15:47 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Flagstones set loosely in a grassy hill amble down to the wall of castle ruins built of uneven stone. An opening, like the vertical slit of a cat's pupil, provides a view down to a verdant field ending in dense darker woods followed by placid water. Light glints over the surface and filters through the eyelet set in the wall bathing gold blades of wild growing grass. In that line of light, a butterfly spreads yellow and black wings wide to catch rays on one of the smaller stones on the path.

In fall, the sun sets on the west side of our property to shine through the trees. On a humid day, the light seems suspended in the thick air, spreading against the dark shapes of the trees, fanning golden brilliance across the green lawn. 1/5
