She has no idea this is happening and does not even look at him; it is fair to say she registers only what's in front of her, and even that's not a guarantee, and she's always been more confused than irritated by the cats, so as far she knows, everything's fine. When I put Sadie's leash and harness on her to walk her at night, she gets excited and runs around, often to the cats, as if to show them her harness and ask if they, too, are excited about the walk she's about to take. Leo's reaction is, again, hostile. Sadie prances away without registering. I love her.

Been revisiting THE GOOD PLACE for the first time since it aired, and I'm struck by how it feels more like a cable show than a network one:
