Why on Earth does the ‘skip credits’ button on Paramount Plus stay all the way through the bloody opening sequence? If I haven’t pressed it 90 seconds in, I’m probably good. And would probably prefer the credits without a bleeding button obscuring them.

Bloody hell, Life of Chuck is good. But it’s almost impossible to describe why without spoiling it. Please just look at the picture and think “Yeah!”

There are lots of ways to be loved. Here is a poem about some of them. Hope you identify with at least one.

This isn’t the worst thing about Trump by quite some margin but… he’s a fucking coward, right? Always hiding behind weasely little half-ass excuses. ‘Lot of people saying…’ ‘…an intent posted it…’

Say it or don’t say it. Ideally the latter.

Head now buzzing with the notion of James-from-Traitors as the Doctor.

Constant wide eyed wonder and confusion. Most episodes end with everyone dead and him saying “Well that didn’t really go as well as I expected.”

“Doctor Who is trying to work out what is going on. There's clearly some nefarious alien skullduggery afoot. He engages his usual response, which is to say, "Ahhhhhh” for as long as he can manage, in the hope that a clue will arrive before he passes out.”

Thin Ice is Doctor Who at its best. It looks great, there’s a hissable villain and there’s a real sense of who the Doctor essentially *is*. And Bill… good grief Bill is wonderful.

I'm in a similar place with writing. Very hard to get going at the moment. I'm telling myself that January sucks, and I'm allowed to be kind to myself this month.

James alone makes me feel like there’s joy and hope in the world. Tom Basden to play him in the film.
